United's History

United Protective Systems was founded in 1942 by a master electrician, Joseph J. Lane, upon his return from World War II and is currently managed by his son Martin J. Lane. United has been in business for over half a century and is now one of the best-recognized privately held security companies in the metropolitan area. United Central Station Monitoring facility is located and operated from United's own Security Headquarteds in SOHO.
